Jennifer Garner was originally born in Houston Texas on April 17th 1973. Her family was however raised within Charleston West Virginia. The father of Jennifer Garner, William John Garner, was a chemical engineer for Union Carbide. Patricia Ann Garner, the mother of Patricia Ann, taught at the local college. Desiring to follow in her father's footsteps and earn an engineering degree in chemical technology. However, because she wanted to pursue her dream as an actress, she moved into New York to try her chance in the movie industry. Chefs were employed at an eatery in New York and appeared in Broadway productions. Garner was a guest role on the tv show "Felicity." This was here that she met Scott Foley, her first husband.
